Plan of Salvation
Hear The Word
"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17
Repent
The word "repent" can be found all throughout the Bible, most prominently in Matthew 4:17, Mark 6:12, Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, and Acts 17:30. Repentance can be defined as regret or caring afterwards (Strong's G3338; H5164). It is understanding your sin and asking for forgiveness with the intention of turning away from that sin.
Believe
"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" (John 20:31). "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).
Confess
"if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." - Romans 10:9-10
Be Baptized
Baptism, or baptisma in the Greek, is translated as immersion and purification (Strong's G908; G909). It symbolizes your death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12). Born anew as a follower of Christ. Scripture tells us that baptism is not only a symbolic identification with Christ but also a necessary component of salvation (Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 2:38; Acts 2:41; Acts 8:36).
Live Your New Life
"Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slave to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness." - Romans 6:16-18
